Senior Cost Manager (Construction)

What you will do

• Participate in tender and bid processes from documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Manage project cost changes by identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing variations.
• Prepare estimates, cost plans, valuations, and cost reports for key client developments.
• Review final accounts and support the resolution of claims, construction disputes, and loss and expense claims.
• Communicate cost variations and documentation clearly to project stakeholders and support timely decision-making.
• Mentor employees and foster strong performance and professional growth.

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Cost Manager, preferably in a consultancy environment.
• Experience in pre-contract cost management, budget control, cost planning, and change management.
• Knowledge of alternative construction materials and experience preparing change forms for project stakeholders.
• Chartered status or progress toward chartership.
• Degree or comparable experience in project management or a construction discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
