What you will do

• Debug complex software products using systematic testing and maintain quality standards.
• Perform software tests on code and enhancements with limited supervision.
• Analyze test results, recommend corrective actions, and maintain debugging documentation.
• Write test standards and procedures for software products.
• Collaborate with development engineers to resolve software problems.
• Support software integration with scientific computation, data acquisition, and data processing systems, including technical leadership of small test projects.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in software testing or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of testing best practices and how software quality integrates with related functions.
• Ability to solve complex problems by analyzing information from multiple sources.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
