VP, HR - Operations Governance and Controls

Location: Stamford, Connecticut, United States, with hybrid work from home near a hirify.global Hub and required in-person engagement activities

Salary: $110,000–$185,000 USD annual, plus eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Provide strategic HR business partnership to leaders and employees in Operations Governance and Controls.
• Support organizational design, recruiting, succession management, talent development, compensation, benefits, and performance management.
• Manage employee relations proactively and partner with Operations HR and Legal on employee relations strategies.
• Lead workforce planning, talent reviews, succession plans, and development solutions for high-potential employees.
• Drive culture change, employee engagement, HR operational excellence, and alignment with business goals and cost targets.
• Monitor HR policy adherence and execute US HR policies in compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of progressively responsible HR Business Partner experience, or 10+ years of HR leadership experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience supporting multiple executive-level clients and both exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Experience supporting geographically diverse, matrixed client groups.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, customer service, or another regulated industry.
• Process governance expertise and experience partnering with HR Business Partners.
• Strength in coaching, employee relations, conflict resolution, influence, and change management.
• Master’s degree in human resources or a business-related field.
