Director, HR Business Partner (Technology)

Location: San Francisco, California; other location: Rohnert Park, California. Up to 25% travel is required.

Estimated base salary: $220,000–$270,000, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Partner with Technology leaders across R&D and Product to align HR strategies with strategic business objectives.
• Drive organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency through organizational design, change management, employee relations, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR best practices.
• Develop strategies that foster a high-performance culture and promote employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to advise leaders on talent management, workforce trends, and organizational health.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and uphold ethical HR standards.

Requirements

• Proven track record of partnering with leaders to drive business results through effective HR strategies and initiatives.
• Experience supporting technical teams, including technology, engineering, R&D, or Product.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking and a deep understanding of HR best practices, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Experience with change management.
• Experience managing employee relations matters, including investigation management.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive HR experience as an HR business partner or generalist, including 3+ years supporting technical functions.
