What you will do
- Deliver cost consultancy services for complex capital projects, including semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, industrial, research and development, and commercial construction programs.
- Manage vendor prequalification, proposal and bid assessments, bid leveling, bid interviews, recommendations, and appointment processes.
- Develop and review project estimates, benchmark costs, present value-engineering recommendations, and assess commercial risks.
- Establish cost reporting schedules, maintain budgets and forecasts, manage commercial risk registers, and lead cost review meetings.
- Control payment applications, change orders, contractor entitlements, invoicing, and contractual disputes in collaboration with project managers and vendors.
- Manage final accounts, post-contract audits, project closeout, handover procedures, lessons learned, and related training materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction cost management.
- Experience supporting cost management on medium or large construction projects.
- Knowledge of procurement routes, value management, value engineering, construction cost control, and estimating.
- Strong communication skills and experience in construction consultancy are strongly preferred.
- Experience with complex industrial, manufacturing, advanced technology, or research and development projects is preferred.
