Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor - Semiconductor Construction

Location: Boise, Idaho, United States; on-site presence and requirements may change depending on client needs.

What you will do

• Act as the key day-to-day client interface for cost management services on large-scale semiconductor and advanced manufacturing construction projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, cost plans, monthly cost reports, funding presentations, and built-cost benchmarking records.
• Estimate, audit, value, and negotiate contractor and subcontractor pricing, change orders, final accounts, and post-contract cost variances.
• Manage contingency, commitments, cost validation, change control, and valuation processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with design teams, general contractors, owners, project managers, suppliers, and stakeholders on cost information and value engineering.
• Lead delivery, mentor talent, manage commission financial reporting, and maintain business management systems and delivery methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in construction cost management.
• Experience leading cost management for medium or large construction projects of medium to high complexity.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters, procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a client-facing role.

Nice to have

• RICS accreditation or progress toward accreditation.
• Experience with semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, industrial, cleanroom, or other highly technical construction projects.
• Construction consultancy experience.
