Special Operations Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Southern Pines, NC)

Location: Fort Liberty, North Carolina, United States. The position offers relocation and requires U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.

What you will do

• Integrate physical, mental, and psychological wellness support for Special Operations Forces service members and their families.
• Conduct clinical and behavioral health assessments, brief interventions, and clinical investigations.
• Assess treatment adherence and barriers, educate patients, and perform case management functions.
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, registries, and evaluation reports.
• Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders, school districts, and behavioral health specialists.
• Participate in quality improvement activities, staff meetings, conferences, military-specific training, and clinical supervision where required.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required.
• Secret clearance required or the ability to obtain it.
• Master of Social Work or equivalent degree from a CSWE-accredited graduate school of social work.
• Current, unrestricted clinical license to independently practice social work in a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
• At least two years of peer-reviewable clinical social work experience in a mental health setting.
• Working knowledge of clinical social work standards and ethics, with experience in brief behavioral interventions; clinical practice privileges may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a government setting, such as the Department of Defense or Department of Veterans Affairs.
