Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Location: 100% remote within the United States; a current, unrestricted clinical social work license issued by a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.

What you will do

• Provide brief, evidence-based virtual individual and group counseling for low- to moderate-acuity patients with acute mental health conditions.
• Conduct biopsychosocial evaluations, identify symptoms, make diagnoses, and develop, monitor, and document comprehensive treatment plans.
• Prepare case summaries, correspondence, outpatient and inpatient records, and electronic medical record updates in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Complete Active-Duty Profiles, Medical Evaluation Board evaluations, mental status evaluations, command consultations, fitness-for-duty determinations, and related administrative reports.
• Assess safety risks, recommend hospitalization when appropriate, and coordinate care with providers, case managers, and other multidisciplinary staff.
• Participate in staff meetings, case discussions, continuing education, quality improvement, and safety activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
• Two years of post-graduate clinical social work experience, including virtual platforms, biopsychosocial evaluations, behavioral health treatment planning, psychotherapy, and military evaluations; candidates with less than two years of virtual-platform experience may be considered.
• Current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical social work license permitting independent practice in a U.S. jurisdiction, active for at least two years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required clinical privileges and complete credentialing requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support certification through the American Red Cross.
