Senior Business Transformation Analyst (IT)

Location: Merrimack, NH, United States; duties can be performed on-site or hybrid.

Salary: $106,500–$138,250 per year.

What you will do

• Analyze current and desired future states for complex, cross-functional business enhancements with department leaders, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, group discussions, and surveys; facilitate consensus and translate findings into business objectives, requirements, actionable use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Create business requirements documents, process flow diagrams, metrics, and visual analyses of trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, System Analysts, business teams, and IT on impact analysis, risks, solution design, testing, training, documentation, change management, and timely delivery.
• Monitor implemented solutions, evaluate effectiveness, recommend continuous improvements, and provide L2/L3 process troubleshooting and functional testing support.
• Provide peer review, coaching, and mentoring while handling project, process, planning, scheduling, and administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Expertise in multiple business analysis techniques, including defining the business problem and measuring success.
• Excellent active listening, relationship-building, communication, writing, diagramming, and presentation skills for translating complex information across teams.
• Ability to facilitate open and collaborative discussions, provide constructive feedback, build trust, and support effective teamwork and problem-solving.
• Proven expertise in eliciting, defining, and documenting business goals, processes, use cases, and business requirements.
• Critical-thinking, logical-reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills, including analyzing processes, identifying trends, and assessing change impacts.
• Technical proficiency with Visio, Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
• Project management skills, including managing multiple tasks, deadlines, resources, and deliverables.
• Adaptability and flexibility in changing circumstances and business environments.
• Business acumen covering common business processes, rules, policies, and objectives, with the ability and desire to stay current on trends and challenges.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Configure Price Quote (CPQ), IT Asset Management (ITAM), Enterprise Resource Management (ERP), or Warehouse Management System (WMS) business systems.
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) or Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
• CBPA or CBPL certification.
