Senior Business Systems Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, US; work across multiple time zones in a hybrid or remote work environment; travel up to 25% may be required.

Annual US base salary: $120,000–$125,000.

What you will do

• Lead business requirements discussions with customers, internal teams, third-party vendors, partners, product owners, and solution architects.
• Develop business and functional requirements for claims, enrollment, provider, authorization, and payment systems.
• Analyze healthcare business requirements and translate them into functional and technical requirements for hirify.global’s core-admin ecosystem.
• Create workflow diagrams, system context diagrams, swim-lane process documentation, and requirements plans aligned with project implementation plans.
• Identify risks, dependencies, automation opportunities, performance improvements, and reusable solutions.
• Collaborate with offshore analysts, development and QA teams throughout sprint planning, requirements walkthroughs, demos, retrospectives, and go-live evaluations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the healthcare insurance domain, including Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, ACA, or Commercial insurance.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in business analysis and a bachelor’s degree or higher in a business or technical field.
• Experience mapping healthcare EDI transactions: 837, 834, 835, 270/271, 276/277, and 278.
• Experience analyzing business requirements and translating or mapping them to technical requirements using EDI implementation, companion, and TR3 guides.
• Experience documenting requirements or user stories and communicating them to technical teams, partners, vendors, and product teams.
• Experience working in an onshore/offshore model.
• Awareness of Agile tools and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication skills with peers, customers, and partners, including the ability to convey information effectively.
• Ability to work with customers and solution architects to identify problems and develop appropriate solutions.

Nice to have

• Exposure to healthcare ecosystems from hirify.global, TriZetto, NASCO, Advantasure, or Change Healthcare.
• Experience with hirify.global applications such as HealthRules Payer or GuidingCare.
• Understanding of SQL and XSDs.
