Information System Security Manager (ISSM)

What you will do

• Support Assessment & Authorization and Risk Management Framework activities for assigned systems, applications, networks, and devices.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments and identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and protection requirements.
• Develop, review, and maintain RMF artifacts, including Security Plans, Risk Assessment Reports, and POA&Ms.
• Assess compliance with NIST, DoD, Intelligence Community, DISA STIG, and SRG requirements.
• Coordinate with system administrators, engineers, developers, government personnel, and other stakeholders on authorization and remediation activities.
• Provide authorization status updates, stakeholder briefings, leadership reports, and cybersecurity process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Current DoD 8570-compliant certification.
• At least five years of experience performing ISSM and/or ISSO responsibilities in classified environments.
• Experience supporting RMF authorization and compliance activities and developing RMF artifacts.
• Knowledge of A&A processes, NIST security standards, DISA STIGs, and cybersecurity compliance tools such as eMASS, ACAS, Xacta, and SCAP Compliance Checker.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community programs.
• Experience working in multi-enclave or classified network environments.
