Senior Cybersecurity Specialist (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Perform Risk Management Framework activities through system RMF acceptance for Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office IT systems.
• Conduct system categorization, security control selection, implementation, assessment, and continuous monitoring.
• Identify system vulnerabilities and risks, and develop remediation plans for deficiencies that cannot be immediately corrected.
• Implement and enforce IT security policies and assess the impact of updated security requirements.
• Develop, review, and update documentation required for RMF accreditation and status tracking.
• Coordinate RMF activities with the RSO cybersecurity lead and recommend cybersecurity solutions independently.

Requirements

• Active or current Secret security clearance required.
• Master’s or doctorate degree in a related field plus 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the DoD; or bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the DoD.
• Alternatively, 15 years of directly related experience with the required certifications, including 8 years in the DoD.
• Relevant fields include computer science, information science, information systems management, mathematics, statistics, operations research, and computer or electrical engineering.
• Experience must directly relate to the described work and applicable skill-level requirements.
• Experience with RMF and certification and accreditation for Air Force or DoD information systems is required.
