Director I, Pre-Access (Healthcare Revenue Cycle)

Location: Remote across the United States; willingness and ability to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs dictate.

Salary: $92,500–$125,000 annually based on experience, plus eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Set strategy, performance expectations, staffing assignments, and standardized best practices for multi-market pre-access operations.
• Lead pre-access managers and serve as the service-line contact for internal inpatient, outpatient, and surgical business partners.
• Coach and develop managers while using reporting and analytics to identify trends and implement process improvements.
• Lead denial reviews, audit accounts, identify workflow gaps, and implement strategies to mitigate front-end denials.
• Coordinate with revenue cycle and facility leaders to address upstream and downstream workflow impacts.
• Manage departmental budgets, monthly reporting, operational performance, and financial goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in healthcare and at least 3 years of revenue cycle operations or pre-access experience.
• Demonstrated advanced use of AI and experience managing teams in the application of AI for process and technology improvements.
• Work experience with Epic, reporting and analytics, workflow management, process development, and department strategy.
• Financial and project management experience; ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• CRCR certification required within the first 9 months of employment; hirify.global supports certification.
