Director, Process Improvement (Healthcare)

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office per week. Thursdays are required in-office days, while the other two office days are flexible.

Salary: $162,453–$213,220 per year, plus equity grants, annual performance bonuses, and employee benefits.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of managers and their reports.
• Implement process improvement opportunities and develop foundational operating processes.
• Improve efficiency, scale insurance operations, and drive departmental performance metrics.
• Ensure operational compliance with regulatory and accreditation agencies and contractual requirements.
• Identify data, process, and technology issues through measurement and monitoring, then develop cross-functional strategies to address them.
• Own the team vision, quarterly goals, and multi-year strategic roadmap while maintaining relationships across departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in healthcare strategy and operations or a related field.
• 6+ years of leadership experience.
• 2+ years of experience in program management, process design, or process implementation.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Health insurance or healthcare-focused management consulting experience.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience.
• Financial modeling experience.
