Patent Operations Paralegal

What you will do

• Support efficient management of a worldwide patent portfolio containing more than 30,000 patents and applications.
• Process invention disclosures, coordinate prosecution workflows, and organize portfolio reviews.
• Act as a liaison between internal personnel, outside counsel, and third-party vendors.
• Maintain patent business data in IP management software and support Legal Tracker usage.
• Perform first-line approval of patent prosecution invoices.
• Support patent portfolio acquisitions, sales, special projects, and departmental initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
• Significant knowledge of US, PCT, and foreign-jurisdiction patent practice.
• Significant experience with IP management software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to reprioritize quickly while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
