Senior Business Intelligence Data Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $89,000–$121,400 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Support the development, implementation, valuation, and maintenance of value-based healthcare programs.
• Use complex SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps to improve processes and support provider relationships.
• Research and report monthly activity, reconciling data and explaining results for current and potential programs.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc analyses using Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and other analytical tools.
• Support accurate payments to value-based specialists and help expand programs into new markets and business areas.
• Lead the adoption of new technologies and communicate findings to internal and external partners, senior leaders, and executives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of advanced experience developing complex SQL queries.
• At least 1 year of experience working with healthcare data, such as provider or insurance data.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formatting.
• Advanced experience working with large, complex datasets within large organizations.
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Databricks/Unified Data Platform.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without hirify.global sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in mathematics, economics, finance, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience with health insurance data, including Medicare, Medicaid, claims, or premium data.
• Experience with PySpark and/or Python.
• Experience using Power Automate or Power Apps for process automation.
