Senior Engineer, Business Intelligence

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; candidates must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States. Travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations may be required as business needs demand.

Salary: $91,400–$175,200 per year, based on experience.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain strategic Power BI reports using data from multiple databases and systems.
• Manage large datasets, reporting requirements, data mining, manipulation, and delivery to stakeholders and executives.
• Perform root cause analysis, systems validation, bug resolution, code reviews, and report quality checks before UAT.
• Lead discussions about current and future data needs and translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
• Optimize reporting performance using DAX Studio, Performance Analyzer, VertiPaq, SQL, and M language.
• Mentor developers and engineers while collaborating with stakeholders, product owners, and other teams.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience with relational databases and advanced T-SQL, including complex optimized queries for large-scale data cleansing.
• 3–5 years of experience developing Power BI reports with M, SQL, and DAX proficiency.
• 5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience.
• Experience with ETL, Azure data warehouse concepts and processes, APIs, Power Apps integration, VertiPaq, DAX Studio, and Tabular Editor.
• Strong analytical, communication, planning, organizational, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to own and resolve issues.
• Must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Databricks.
