Healthcare Data Analyst III

Location: Hybrid role located on campus in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, United States

Salary: $92,400–$157,100 annually

What you will do

• Design and implement analytics, operational reporting, and trend analysis for internal and external business customers.
• Develop reports, statistical models, visualizations, and analytical products for management decision-making.
• Analyze pharmacy claims, medical claims, clinical, lab, cost, utilization, and healthcare management data to identify trends and patterns.
• Build and maintain programs, data models, and automated reporting products for large datasets.
• Troubleshoot complex analytical issues, document projects, and support peer review and data product quality.
• Partner with pharmacy business leaders and customers to scope projects and apply appropriate quantitative methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent related work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience applying quantitative analytics, data architecture, database design, data transformation, and data management methods.
• At least 3 years of experience with SQL, Python, VBA, or another scripting language.
• At least 1 year of experience analyzing pharmacy, healthcare claims, managed care, PBM, specialty pharmacy, formulary, medication utilization, or related healthcare data.
• Advanced knowledge of statistics, mathematical methods, databases, reporting packages, programming, data modeling, and data visualization.
• Working knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology, coding and billing, claims processing, prescription drug claims, clinical data requirements, and PPI data requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with pharmacy claims data, NDCs, drug classification systems, rebate data, medication adherence, or pharmaceutical analytics.
• Experience building Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence solutions for healthcare or pharmacy stakeholders.
• Master’s degree in a quantitative science field.
• Experience with advanced analytics tools and varied data formats.
