What you will do

  • Coordinate cross-functional program and project activities across scientific, operational, and administrative teams.
  • Support research subcontracts, collaboration agreements, CRADAs, MTAs, intellectual property requirements, purchasing, and fiscal planning.
  • Prepare program reports, progress updates, proposals, statements of work, deliverables, and other formal documents.
  • Manage meetings by preparing agendas and minutes, recording decisions, and tracking follow-up actions with stakeholders.
  • Support personnel onboarding and offboarding, equipment requests and management, vendor certification, and laboratory operations.
  • Maintain accurate biological material inventory data and coordinate with HR, Finance, Purchasing, and Equipment groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree; foreign degrees require U.S. equivalency evaluation.
  • At least two years of experience in research management, experimental planning, proposal writing, and project management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, team-oriented environment and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Medical clearance and immunizations are required due to potential exposure to infectious materials.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of GCLP, CLIA, or FDA standards for clinical assays.
  • Familiarity with immunoassays, testing, equipment maintenance, and LIMS.
  • Knowledge of CostPoint, Cognos, Corcentric, ERP systems, finance, and budgeting.
  • PMP certification.
  • Understanding of immunology, immune assays, diagnostics, vaccines, and clinical research.
