Salary: $90,000–$120,000 in New York and San Francisco; $80,000–$105,000 in Cleveland and Pittsburgh; €80,000–€95,000 in Munich; £70,000–£85,000 in London. Performance bonus and equity are offered.

What you will do

  • Serve as the primary scientific contact for new customers throughout onboarding and implementation.
  • Translate experimental workflows, data structures, and scientific domains into tailored platform configurations.
  • Lead discovery calls, product demonstrations, working sessions, and scientific due diligence with R&D leaders, scientists, and technical stakeholders.
  • Design end-to-end configurations for formulations, experiments, measurements, samples, and test methods.
  • Manage project timelines, implementation milestones, alignment meetings, and customer go-live objectives.
  • Surface recurring customer needs and collaborate with engineering and product teams on improvements.

Requirements

  • M.S. or higher in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, biology, or a closely related field.
  • 2–3 years of post-degree experience in research, industry, or a technical customer-facing role.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience and comfort discussing experimental design, scientific data, and R&D workflows with PhD-level researchers.
  • Experience explaining complex scientific concepts to varied audiences and managing multiple workstreams.
  • Hands-on familiarity with scientific or technical software, such as ELNs, LIMS, instrument-control software, MATLAB, JMP, data-analysis tools, or scripting environments.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, and scientific data-management concepts.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to multiple scientific domains, such as organic chemistry, polymer science, biotechnology, or formulation.
  • Experience in consulting or other technical customer-facing work.
