Traffic Engineer (Civil Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Lead traffic engineering studies and design projects from early planning through construction.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality work on schedule and within budget.
• Partner with public and private clients to understand goals and guide transportation solutions.
• Navigate ODOT and local agency processes to move projects forward efficiently.
• Contribute to proposals and help develop opportunities across a diverse project portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or a related field.
• At least 3 years of traffic or civil engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience with ODOT, municipalities, and regulatory processes.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and GEOPAK.
• Experience with HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, and/or TransModeler, plus strong communication and collaboration skills.
