Transportation Engineer III (Civil Infrastructure)

Salary: Minimum $120,000 per year; actual compensation depends on location, skills, certifications, and position circumstances.

What you will do

• Design highways, streets, roadway alignments, roundabouts, roadway grading and models, curb ramps, signing and pavement plans, maintenance-of-traffic plans, and storm drainage.
• Support the Project Manager with scopes of work, fee proposals, budgets, and schedules.
• Track project financials and progress to support on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Develop transportation designs using MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD, and/or Civil 3D.
• Mentor emerging engineers and collaborate with operations leaders, project managers, and technical specialists.
• Support proposal development, client engagement, and strategic pursuits with state and local agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience working on or leading ODOT and municipal transportation projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Experience with Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer, and roadway design software is preferred.
