Senior Associate, Privacy

Location: Remote across the United States; annual travel may be required for internal training, team meet-ups, strategy meetings, and client or business needs.

What you will do

• Execute assigned privacy testing procedures, perform detailed analysis, reach conclusions, and document results according to company standards.
• Build high-quality relationships with client personnel and serve as a contact for basic engagement questions.
• Manage client expectations, project schedules, assigned tasks, and timely issue escalation across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with project teams throughout the engagement lifecycle, including kick-off and closing meetings.
• Contribute to practice development and recommend service improvements where applicable.
• Develop expert knowledge of professional and regulatory standards relevant to privacy services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business management, law, technology, or a relevant field, or equivalent directly related experience.
• 4+ years of experience in information security auditing, assessments, consulting, compliance, privacy operations, professional services, or a large corporate environment.
• Current CIPP or CIPM certification required.
• Knowledge of applicable technology, privacy, and security domains, with strong attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent time management, organization, and verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and ability to contribute effectively to a collaborative remote team.

Nice to have

• Focus in data privacy, cybersecurity, or AI governance.
• Experience with privacy regulations such as CCPA and GDPR.
• Professional membership in IAPP, ISACA, ISC2, or AICPA.
• CIPT, AIGP, or PLS certification, or a Juris Doctor degree.
• Familiarity with OneTrust, DataGrail, Securiti, or similar privacy compliance software.
