Senior Privacy Analyst (AI Governance)

Location: Hybrid role based at the Meadowvale Office in Mississauga, Canada (HQ)

What you will do

• Develop, operationalize, and continuously improve the privacy program, including governance, processes, templates, and controls.
• Conduct privacy reviews for new features and product changes, embedding privacy-by-design and secure development practices.
• Maintain knowledge of products and data flows and provide risk-based guidance to Product, Development, Security, and Sales stakeholders.
• Support PIAs/DPIAs, data mapping, records of processing activities, data subject requests, privacy notices, and internal policies.
• Assess internal and external AI tools, implement deployment guardrails, and support the AI governance program.
• Support contract reviews, security compliance audits, customer privacy questionnaires, and personal-data incident response activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of relevant privacy experience in a global software or technology company.
• Strong knowledge of global privacy frameworks and laws, including GDPR, PIPEDA, and CPRA/CCPA.
• Experience conducting privacy reviews and translating legal and regulatory requirements into operational guidance for product and business teams.

Nice to have

• CIPP certification, such as CIPP/C, CIPP/E, or CIPP/US, and/or CIPM.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance efforts and working with Security teams.
• Familiarity with AI governance, the EU AI Act, risk assessments, and control design.
• Experience with privacy tooling, including DSAR workflows, data mapping, consent and cookie management, or vendor risk platforms.
• Experience working in a matrixed SaaS organization.
