Material Program Manager (PCBA)

What you will do

• Lead material readiness for NPI builds, including EVT, DVT, and PVT procurement.
• Partner with Hardware Engineering to review BOMs, cross-references, obsolescence risks, and compliance flags using Z2Data or equivalent tools.
• Govern the transition of PCBAs from engineering prototypes into stable mass production.
• Maintain clear-to-build visibility and resolve component shortages affecting EMS production schedules.
• Translate forecasts into component-level plans and align capacity commitments with chipmakers and distributors.
• Control contract manufacturer inventory, excess and obsolete exposure, yields, vendor escalations, and expedited deliveries.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in electronics material program management, component planning, or hardware supply chain execution.
• Hands-on proficiency with Z2Data, SiliconExpert, or similar component risk and obsolescence databases.
• In-depth knowledge of PCBA manufacturing lifecycles, semiconductors, and active and passive electronic components.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle and PLM applications such as Agile or Arena.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex data architecture, and multi-source BOM consolidation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
