Production Planner (Defense)

What you will do

• Create production plans from sales forecasts for procurement execution.
• Release work orders to Production and kit requests to Inventory.
• Provide visibility into material positions through line-of-balance, shortage, and clear-to-build reports.
• Prioritize and expedite subassemblies to support integration timelines.
• Update demand for engineering change orders and communicate changes to Procurement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in production planning or manufacturing support.
• Proficiency with MRP and ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics and statistics.
• Experience conducting clear-to-build reviews and expediting materials through production.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or another disruptive manufacturing industry.

Nice to have

• Experience with AS9100 or US export controls.
