Location: Based in San Francisco, Sydney, or Melbourne

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Own the Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, and other collaboration platforms as a primary technical expert.
• Design and develop integrations, workflows, bots, automations, and custom services using APIs, scripts, terminals, and low- or no-code tools.
• Connect collaboration platforms with systems such as JIRA and Identity Engineering services, managing data movement and operational workflows.
• Lead complex migrations and integrations related to mergers and acquisitions, onboarding new teams into Airwallex.
• Partner with INFOSEC, Revenue Operations, Finance, Legal, Sales, Support, and other global teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
• Evaluate, deploy, and enable the use of AI products and features across the supported platforms and business.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in corporate platforms or collaboration services engineering with cloud-first, SaaS-based solutions.
• 5+ years as the primary owner of a core platform such as Slack or Google Workspace, with strong technical expertise.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools, APIs, JSON, REST APIs, and Python or similar technologies.
• Demonstrated experience with data migrations, automation scripts, custom integrations, bots, workflows, and administration of Atlassian, Slack, Google Workspace, or Zoom.
• Understanding of AI models and tools, including practical deployment and daily-use examples, plus the ability to learn independently.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud and AWS, IT operations, escalations, global collaboration, and on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• Experience with low-code/no-code tools such as Workato, Tray, or Mulesoft.
