Senior Accounting Manager (Finance)

What you will do

• Lead general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and technical accounting operations.
• Manage annual financial statement audits and quarterly review processes.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including management of Workiva.
• Lead technical accounting research and implementation for complex transactions under US GAAP.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability.
• Drive the adoption of AI and automation to improve accounting workflows and internal controls.

Requirements

• CPA required with 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Must be based in the US (excluding AK, AR, DE, HI, ME, MS, NM, OK, SD, VT, WI).
• Strong technical foundation in US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proven experience leading close processes in a public or public-ready environment.
• Demonstrated success in improving accounting operations through technology and process redesign.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Public accounting experience.
• Experience with NetSuite, Workiva, or similar ERP platforms.
• Experience in high-growth healthcare or technology sectors.
