Financial Controller (AI)

What you will do

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages for special purpose vehicles under U.S. GAAP.
• Support SPV consolidation and coordinate with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Operations.
• Maintain accounting policies, controls, reconciliations, and audit-ready documentation.
• Coordinate annual SPV audits, including audit support, PBC requests, audit questions, and proposed adjustments.
• Prepare technical accounting memos, position papers, SEC filings, footnotes, and disclosures using Workiva or Active Disclosure.
• Support SOX compliance, internal control improvements, capital markets activity, M&A, and global expansion projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience, including experience at a Big 4 or national public accounting firm.
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and strong experience with SEC reporting and financial statement disclosures.
• Experience with M&A, financing arrangements, capital projects, and complex transactions.
• Hands-on experience with Workiva or Active Disclosure and exceptional technical writing skills.

• Experience in AI, cloud infrastructure, data centers, or high-growth technology companies.
• Familiarity with infrastructure- or hardware-intensive business models.
• Experience with NetSuite and international, multi-entity operations.
