TL;DR
Inventory Control Analyst (Medical Devices): Analyzing inventory throughout the production life cycle and maintaining accurate material and equipment records with an accent on cycle counting, ERP-based inventory control, and discrepancy resolution. Focus on investigating root causes, monitoring work-in-process and Kanban inventory, and supporting continuous improvement in a medical device manufacturing environment.

Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island, United States; onsite

Hourly pay: $19.60–$29.40

What you will do

  • Run daily cycle count sheets and conduct cycle counts across assigned warehouse and sub-inventory locations using the ERP system.
  • Research inventory discrepancies, perform spot counts, and identify and correct root causes of inaccurate balances.
  • Monitor work-in-process and on-hand inventory, resolving negative quantities and analyzing work orders.
  • Conduct weekly spot counts of Kanban items and report and investigate discrepancies.
  • Report recurring inventory movement and material-handling deficiencies to support corrective actions.
  • Support MRB activities, DMR disposition work, and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse processes.
  • Experience using an ERP inventory control system; Oracle experience is a plus.
  • Strong research, problem-solving, organizational, computer, communication, and mathematical skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency required.
  • Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, multitasking environment and meet frequent physical demands, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.

Nice to have

  • Manufacturing experience with exposure to medical device production.
  • Oracle ERP experience.
