TL;DR
Technical Project Manager (II-III-Senior) - New Glenn (Aerospace): Managing new product introduction and sustained production for the New Glenn orbital launch vehicle with an accent on cost, schedule, technical design, and risk management. Focus on integrating engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and supplier schedules, tracking production-readiness artifacts, and driving risk-abatement plans.

What you will do

  • Own the artifacts needed to move assigned Work Centers from design through development and sustained production.
  • Build and maintain project schedules, work breakdown structures, resource plans, and readiness reporting for the applicable level.
  • Track design releases, make-or-buy parts, tooling, work orders, non-conformances, and other production-start requirements.
  • Coordinate engineering, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, suppliers, and program leadership to deliver critical flight and R&D hardware.
  • Communicate risks, abatement plans, escalations, help needs, and readiness status to management and executive leadership.
  • Support subject matter experts during builds and drive the transition from concept to development and production.

Requirements

  • Project management experience in a technical environment; senior-level candidates should bring expert experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and balancing internal and external schedules.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build trust, maintain professional relationships, and collaborate across functions.
  • Self-starter with a strong bias for action who can work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or person granted asylum in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Manufacturing engineering experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience with fabrication vendors and spacecraft or launch-vehicle assembly and integration.
  • Experience with CAD and PLM software.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
