Supply Chain Manager (Robotics)

Location: On-site in the Carson, California office; U.S. work authorization required throughout employment.

Salary: $100,000–$180,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end procurement operations, including supplier sourcing, negotiation, purchase orders, and on-time fulfillment.
• Build procurement systems and tools that provide visibility into purchase orders, vendor commitments, and lead times.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and resolve delivery defaults against fixed lead-time commitments.
• Evaluate, select, onboard, and manage suppliers against cost, quality, and engineering requirements.
• Partner with engineering, product, logistics, deployment, and quality teams on sourcing plans and part requirements.
• Analyze robot deployment forecasts, automate procurement reporting with AI-enabled tools, and report metrics and savings to the Head of Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of purchasing or procurement management experience in a hardware or electronics business.
• Experience building procurement systems and processes from the ground up, ideally in a startup or rapid-growth environment.
• Experience sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and resolving delivery defaults.
• Strong budgeting, cost optimization, negotiation, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and maintain work authorization for the duration of employment.

Nice to have

• CPSM, CSCP, or another relevant procurement or supply chain certification.
• Experience with global sourcing, logistics, and cross-border supply chains.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools for procurement metrics and spend.
• Experience using AI tools for sourcing research, spend analysis, or procurement reporting.
• Experience partnering with engineering or manufacturing teams, or owning procurement at a smaller company or startup.
