Inspector Intern (Quality Control)

Location: East Farmingdale, New York, United States

Hourly pay: $18–$20

Manufacturing organization supporting the Target Rock team and its Inspection Department.

What you will do

• Learn to inspect raw materials, semifinished materials, and finished machined parts.
• Verify parts against engineering drawings and company specifications before assembly.
• Learn and apply inspection processes and procedures.
• Prioritize department needs and support 6S activities.
• Complete required company paperwork and perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen.
• High school or trade school graduate at minimum.
• Working knowledge of inspection tools.
• Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to learn drawing interpretation, inspection standards, and department procedures.
