Product Designer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; work arrangement: on-site

Compensation: $150,000–$200,000 annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the product interaction model, visual language, and design system across the dashboard.
• Design major product surfaces from interaction behavior through shipped UI.
• Define design-system architecture, components, motion, and usage standards in the codebase.
• Push frontend polish through pull requests and contribute to coherent frontend implementation.
• Work with the lead designer and PM to solve product problems and carry designs through final craft.
• Contribute to the ground-up redesign of the dashboard used to build, test, evaluate, and run LLM voice agents.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience shipping web products, including experience as a designer at an early-stage B2B SaaS company.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong visual work that has shipped in production.
• Experience building and successfully adopting a production design system.
• Deep interaction-design experience, including loading, empty, error, hover, and transition states.
• Experience with data-heavy dashboards, workflow tools, or products where users configure behavior.
• Figma mastery, curiosity about product and technical implementation, and comfort using AI coding tools.

Nice to have

• Brand-level thinking and experience evolving a product brand.
• Motion or generative visual work.
• Ability to write coherent frontend code.
