Senior Applied AI Designer

Location: On-site at the New York City office; applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals or U.S. lawful permanent residents.

Salary: $135,000–$200,000 annually plus equity.

What you will do

• Design intuitive, user-centered experiences for an AI workflow orchestration platform.
• Make complex AI workflows accessible to users across the technical spectrum.
• Lead the end-to-end design process from user research and concept exploration through visual design and implementation.
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity interactive prototypes, and production-ready designs in collaboration with engineers.
• Work with product managers and engineers to translate user needs and technical capabilities into cohesive product experiences.
• Help shape product direction and design culture as a foundational member of the design team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a related field, with a portfolio covering complex, data-rich applications or enterprise software.
• Expertise with modern design and prototyping tools, especially Figma.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and experience solving complex problems in ambiguous, early-stage environments.
• Experience designing scalable design systems and developer-facing products, tools, APIs, or technical platforms.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong interest in and understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large language models.
