Product Designer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site

Salary: $212,000–$265,000 base salary per year plus equity

What you will do

• Own product design initiatives end to end, from discovery and scoping through launch and adoption.
• Design experiences for enterprise teams to author, control, direct, and trust autonomous AI agents.
• Define interaction patterns for agent experiences across chat, voice, and authoring interfaces.
• Interview customers and translate research insights into product roadmap decisions.
• Partner closely with engineering, product, research, marketing, and go-to-market teams.
• Build polished features, refine key flows, and contribute to foundational design systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product design experience, including 2+ years designing products of similar scale and complexity.
• Experience with complex systems, B2B SaaS, enterprise products, and products where the designer is not the primary user.
• Track record of independently driving design from discovery through launch while balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
• Strong visual and interaction design craft, structured thinking, and clear communication.
• Fluency in Figma and AI-powered design tools, with rapid prototyping skills.
• Ownership mindset and interest in AI; direct AI product development experience is not required.

Nice to have

• Experience creating, maintaining, or contributing to a design system.
• Technical understanding of LLMs and experience building on top of them or shaping their behavior.
• Hands-on experience with voice technology, conversational AI, speech synthesis, or audio production.
• Ability to work across systems thinking, strategy, detailed interaction design, and pixel-level execution.
