What you will do

• Dive into construction permitting, licensing, and inspections to become an expert in the pre-construction industry.
• Identify and assess UX and visual improvement opportunities in the hirify.global application.
• Own strategy and decision-making for key product surfaces and lead design projects end-to-end.
• Collaborate closely with customers, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to design internal and customer-facing applications and collateral.
• Establish and strengthen design culture, critique rituals, and design-centric approaches.
• Help design a scalable, beautiful, and functional permitting product.

Requirements

• Must have 10+ years of experience designing dense B2B software, especially workflow-heavy products.
• Comfortable with design tools like Figma, Notion, and Linear or similar.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Technical competence to effectively communicate designs and decisions with engineers.
• Preference for candidates based in or willing to relocate to New York City, USA.
