Material Specialist

Location: Duluth, Georgia, United States; U.S. Citizenship required

Salary: $21.63–$34.13 per hour. For specific work locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $26.68–$40.14 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate physical inventory records.
• Monitor and execute systematic inventory transactions.
• Process inbound materials from Receiving to stockroom locations.
• Review and process material requests through electronic templates and mobile RF devices.
• Source inventory requests from Operations, Planning, Test, and Engineering teams to support on-time customer deliveries.
• Contribute to cross-functional inventory management improvement projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in material control and physical inventory maintenance.
• Experience with warehouse inventory stocking, receipt processing, and material consumption in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating forklifts and reach lifts.
• Experience with Oracle Inventory and Manufacturing modules.
• Proficiency in hazardous material handling and storage.
• U.S. Citizenship required; high school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Nice to have

• Experience with cycle counting processes and variance resolution.
• Experience handling shelf-life-limited and moisture-sensitive materials.
• Ability to analyze internal reports and metrics to support value-based decisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and effective communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
