What you will do

• Design and develop analog and mixed-signal IC circuit blocks from concept and specification through final verification.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of long-reach CMOS SerDes and high-speed I/O ICs.
• Design SerDes blocks including drivers, receivers, serializers, deserializers, phase interpolators, PLLs, clock distribution, ADCs, DACs, bias and bandgap circuits, and voltage regulators.
• Apply jitter analysis and signal equalization techniques to high-speed circuit designs.
• Use CAD tools for circuit simulation and post-layout verification, with laboratory testing as part of the design process.
• Verify circuit conformance to customer specifications and collaborate effectively with the design team.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience developing CMOS SerDes or high-speed I/O ICs.
• Thorough understanding of jitter and signal equalization techniques.
• Design experience with most of the listed SerDes circuit blocks.
• Experience with hirify.global tools, laboratory testing, designs at ≥16 Gbps, and technologies at ≤16 nm.
• Proficiency in circuit simulation and post-layout verification using CAD tools.
• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, plus strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of common SerDes standards and their electrical requirements.
• Proficiency with layout entry.
