Company

hirify.global develops Level 4 autonomous transportation technology for short-haul, B2B middle-mile logistics and operates autonomous trucks for commercial deliveries.

What you will do

  • Design, execute, and document test plans for perception, localization, path planning, and vehicle control features.
  • Develop and maintain Python and C++ test scripts and automation tools on Linux platforms.
  • Use ROS1 and ROS2 to launch nodes, record and replay rosbags, debug topic streams, and integrate test harnesses.
  • Interface with vehicle electronics over CAN, decode signals, and troubleshoot defects using sensor data and rosbag artifacts.
  • Calibrate and verify LiDAR, camera, radar, IMU, and GNSS sensor stacks and validate sensor-fusion outputs.
  • Participate in track testing, closed-course evaluations, public-road drives, regression testing, KPI tracking, and audit-ready reporting.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, electronics, mechatronics, robotics, computer science, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Hands-on Linux experience, including shell usage, build systems, networking, and debugging tools.
  • Working knowledge of ROS1 and ROS2, including nodes, topics, services, launch files, rosbag, tf, and package development.
  • Practical CAN protocol experience, including DBC-based message decoding and CAN tools or hardware such as Vector or Kvaser.
  • Understanding of automobile systems, robotics fundamentals, coordinate frames, transforms, sensors, actuators, and basic state estimation.
  • Python scripting, reading-level C++ skills, analytical problem-solving, and clear written and verbal communication.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, sensor calibration tools, or large-scale rosbag analysis.
  • Exposure to ISO 26262 functional safety standards or SOTIF (ISO 21448).
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to participate in on-road test drives.

Culture & Benefits

  • Collaborative environment focused on safety, respect, agility, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Opportunity to contribute to autonomous transportation and a more resilient, sustainable supply chain.
  • Work alongside specialists in perception, planning, controls, software, and hardware.
