Vehicle Integration Engineer (Autonomous Vehicles)

What you will do

• Lead the physical integration of components into autonomous truck platforms across production, prototype, and non-program-specific development projects.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, calibrations, and ongoing troubleshooting of vehicle systems.
• Create and track issues in JIRA through resolution and document vehicle tasks and problems.
• Work hands-on with mechanical, mechatronics, and software engineers to bring up new vehicle platforms.
• Create installation instructions for new vehicle builds.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, product teams, and operators to maintain vehicle readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of practical automotive experience.
• Experience diagnosing vehicle or robotics systems, including electrical and mechanical sensors, cameras, computers, and associated equipment.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to continuous learning.
• Ability to work on-site in Fremont, California.
