VP Manufacturing (Global Operations)

Location: USA — Lincolnshire, Illinois. Ideal locations include Holtsville, New York; Austin, Texas; Lincolnshire, Illinois; and Morris Plains, New Jersey.

Salary: $231,360–$347,040 annual, plus a target performance-based annual cash incentive of 35% of base pay.

What you will do

• Develop and execute global manufacturing strategies across internal plants and external partners, including outsource-versus-insource recommendations.
• Lead a multi-regional production network and manage media manufacturing costs, margins, throughput, capacity, and capital investments.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, inspection technologies, operational KPIs, sustainability, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Oversee global quality governance, compliance with GS1 and ISO standards, and supplier quality and performance.
• Partner with R&D, Product Management, and Sales to commercialize new materials, RFID and sensor converting, linerless technologies, and other manufacturing capabilities.
• Build and mentor a global operations leadership team while fostering safety, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in global manufacturing and operations management.
• 7+ years in a senior executive role such as VP or Senior Director managing multisite international manufacturing facilities across regions including the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
• Experience in global technology manufacturing involving hardware devices and specialized materials.
• Proven management of large-scale P&L responsibilities, capital budgets, contract manufacturers, and global suppliers.
• Ability to lead through complex global supply chain constraints and work effectively with diverse international teams.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Master Black Belt or advanced Lean/Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with executive assessment, coaching, and functional talent strategy.
