TL;DR
Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer (AMT) (Automation and Manufacturing Engineering): Leading the automation strategy for a new electronics center of excellence and guiding system design, development, and program delivery with an accent on controls, manufacturing processes, robotics, machine vision, PLCs, and HMIs. Focus on setting the technical roadmap, managing cross-functional execution, mitigating launch risks, and building technical capability across the program team.

Location: United States; work can be performed at Solon, Ohio; Hollister, California; or Chandler, Arizona. Travel is up to 10% annually when based in Solon and up to 50% when based in Hollister or Chandler. U.S. Persons or candidates able to obtain the required U.S. government export authorizations are required.

Salary: $125,160–$232,440 per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

  • Set the technical strategy and roadmap for the Solon site's automation initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the automation system design and development team.
  • Manage automation program delivery, including scope, resources, timelines, and risk mitigation.
  • Provide technical leadership across controls, manufacturing process, and automation engineering.
  • Guide system design decisions involving robotics, machine vision, PLCs, HMIs, and integrated manufacturing systems.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, other sites, and senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in automation, controls, or manufacturing process engineering, including program or project leadership.
  • Experience in electronics, aerospace, defense, or automotive manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of controls, robotics, machine vision, PLCs, HMIs, and integrated manufacturing systems.
  • Experience with planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and end-to-end execution.
  • U.S. Person status or the ability to secure required U.S. export authorizations is necessary for ongoing employment.
