Salary: $22.00–$27.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support a primary care physician and deliver an excellent patient experience.
• Escort patients, prepare and stock exam rooms, review medical information, and collect updated health data.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, dress wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Schedule patients, manage check-in and check-out, process medical record requests, and coordinate referrals and specialist visits.
• Document patient information accurately, process test results, and communicate results as directed by the provider.
• Participate in patient outreach, care-gap initiatives, and maintenance of clinical supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration; certification or registration is required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
