Overnight Warehouse Driver Lead

Location: 125 State St, Moonachie, New Jersey 07074, United States; overnight onsite shift

Salary: $24–$26 per hour based on experience, plus up to $700 per month in bonuses

What you will do

• Lead pre-shift safety checks and verify that drivers and vehicles are ready for departure.
• Monitor fleet maintenance needs, report vehicle issues, and coordinate routine servicing.
• Manage vehicle, fuel card, phone, van staging, and delivery-supply readiness.
• Work with warehouse staff to audit deliveries and confirm products are loaded onto the correct routes.
• Ensure drivers follow manifests, safety procedures, and customer delivery instructions.
• Serve as a backup driver, monitor delivery performance, investigate delays, and escalate issues to the AGM.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; a satisfactory MVR check is required.
• At least one year of experience safely driving a delivery vehicle, such as a 26-foot box truck, in city environments.
• No CDL is required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and handle delivery supplies as needed.
• Ability to follow customer delivery instructions and support safe, accurate, on-time deliveries.

Nice to have

• Experience navigating New Jersey and New York.
• Prior experience in last-mile delivery, logistics, or fleet operations.
