Operations Supervisor (Robotics)

What you will do

• Coordinate fleet deployment and optimize routes for new Los Angeles operating zones with the City GM.
• Lead, coach, and dispatch field associates, drivers, and mechanics while enforcing safety, quality, and service-level standards.
• Oversee work orders for damaged robots and vehicles, validate repairs against SOPs, and escalate critical issues to the MRO team.
• Analyze fleet telemetry, repair logs, and replenishment metrics to identify inefficiencies and build scalable operational playbooks.
• Represent field operations in engineering and product stand-ups by reporting bugs, proposing enhancements, and validating fixes on-street.
• Provide occasional hands-on support with charging, cleaning, and basic repairs while mentoring new associates.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible, non-traditional schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
• End-to-end understanding of operations from incoming inventory through on-street performance.
• Proven project management skills across multiple workstreams, including zone launches, vendor coordination, and headcount forecasting.
• Bias for action, entrepreneurial problem-solving, and ability to work effectively in a high-growth environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in micromobility, events, or field service operations.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen process-optimization frameworks.
• Hands-on mechanical skills or technical certifications in EV maintenance or robotics diagnostics.
• Experience partnering with municipal organizations and vendors.
