Bilingual Scheduling Specialist Associate

Location: Remote - Nationwide, United States; must be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require.

Salary: $15.75–$20.90 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

• Schedule and pre-register diagnostic services patients based on physician orders.
• Select accurate medical records to support patient safety.
• Provide patient instructions and validate demographic and insurance information.
• Deliver customer service throughout the patient access process.
• Perform point-of-service collections and financial counseling when appropriate.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Spanish and English bilingual proficiency required.
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative certification required within nine months of hire.
• One to three years of work experience, including healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance companies and pre-authorizations required.
• Patient access experience, typing at a minimum of 35 WPM, intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to work with multiple computer systems and dual screens.

Nice to have

• Two years of experience in a healthcare-related position.
• Customer service experience.
