Senior Business Analyst (IGA)

What you will do

• Lead current-state discovery of access requests, approvals, applications, entitlements, authoritative sources, and joiner-mover-leaver processes.
• Elicit and document requirements for identity lifecycle automation, access requests, certifications, segregation of duties, and delegated administration.
• Facilitate role engineering workshops, validate role-mining outputs, define role hierarchies, and improve entitlement descriptions and risk ratings.
• Own application onboarding from intake and connector feasibility through data mapping, owner identification, and runbook creation.
• Design certification campaigns, including reviewer models, escalation, revocation, remediation, and reviewer-fatigue mitigation.
• Author functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, UAT plans, change-management materials, and program reporting.

Requirements

• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or ITIL certification, plus functional certification on a primary IGA platform.
• Hands-on configuration exposure to SailPoint, Saviynt, or Okta administration consoles, with SQL skills for entitlement and access-data analysis.
• Experience with role mining or identity data-quality tools and dashboard reporting in Power BI or Tableau.
• Regulated-industry experience in financial services, healthcare, or the public sector.
• Experience with a legacy IGA migration or post-audit remediation program.
• 7–10+ years of business analysis or consulting experience, including 4+ years on IAM/IGA programs, with ownership of UAT through sign-off.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of identity lifecycle, RBAC, entitlements, access certification, provisioning, privileged account governance, and dormant or orphan accounts.
• Experience with BRD/FRD authoring, BPMN or swimlane process mapping, traceability matrices, Jira, or Azure Boards.
• Experience facilitating workshops with business, application, security, and audit stakeholders.
