Business Systems Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote-friendly with required office attendance at least 25% of the time; offices in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City

Annual salary: $205,000–$270,000 USD

What you will do

• Deliver technical business systems projects from conception through launch.
• Configure and customize business applications, including permissions, workflows, and integrations.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
• Evaluate vendors, manage contracts and service levels, and assess ongoing performance.
• Create system documentation, process flows, user guides, and knowledge management resources.
• Coordinate testing, validation, user acceptance testing, end-user support, and cross-platform integrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role within a technology-focused environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, requirements-gathering, and technical specification skills.
• Experience configuring and customizing business applications and managing vendor relationships.
• Experience with API integrations and iPaaS solutions.
• Strong communication, documentation, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and professional experience.

Nice to have

• Enterprise business systems, database management, and SQL experience.
• Agile or Scrum project management experience and relevant certifications.
• Business intelligence, reporting, knowledge management, or intranet implementation experience.
• Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
• Experience in high-growth startup environments.
