People Operations Generalist (Robotics)

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Own onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle coordination across People, IT, Finance, Payroll, and hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate employee data, workflows, reporting, and automation in Rippling.
• Coordinate payroll-impacting changes, benefits, leave programs, employment transitions, and reconciliations.
• Administer benefits and leave programs, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, parental leave, and 401(k) coordination.
• Maintain compliance and reporting processes covering I-9, wage and hour requirements, EEO-1, California Pay Data Reporting, and ACA reporting.
• Identify process inefficiencies, improve documentation and data integrity, and build scalable People Operations workflows.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or an HR Generalist role with hands-on ownership of employee lifecycle processes.
• Hands-on HRIS administration experience, including employee records, workflow configuration, reporting, and data integrity.
• Working knowledge of employment law, with particular depth in California leave administration and wage and hour compliance.
• Experience partnering with Payroll and Finance on employee changes, benefits, leaves, payroll-impacting events, and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and the ability to audit and reconcile HR data across systems and records.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rippling Custom Integration Platform or similar HRIS integration and workflow automation tools.
• Multi-state People Operations experience.
• Experience with EEO-1, California Pay Data, ACA, 401(k), and other recurring HR compliance reporting.
• Experience with Tilt, Ashby, Rippling, or similar People technology platforms.
• Experience using Claude or other AI tools to improve recurring People Operations processes.
